Lol, no need to worry, they're already "dead" right? Another life in Soul Society await!  This art was inspired by the lyrics of Evanescene's song "My Last Breath". I thought it fit Ichigo and Rukia perfectly, especially considering it has the words "fade to black".  I just had an idea for the pose one day and it turned out angsty again, but I tried to make the thought of the last breath beautiful. It doesn't really seem like they're dying though and I don't really wanna think of it like that anyways. It's just the title, that's all.  But hey, even if they were, they're in each others' arms, where they belong. Gotta say, I like how her hair finally turned out. At first I was worried about Ichigo's bright hair taking away the spotlight but now after the sparkles there seems to be more contrast in Rukia's hair. I also finally figured out how to paint right, and then Crimson taught me some helpful techniques I'll use next time. I think it's the tablet that helped me improve, but definitely studying your techniques too! >.< And I love your Rukia's hair and how glossy everything is! We just have different styles. I'm developing my style still...haha

Hey, took me much longer to develop any kind of style. XD So it's good you're well on your way!
The tablet really is nifty though, I'm glad you're getting good use out of it. :3
